| Nell Bassett has been involved in radio and television broadcasting and with Community Service for many, many years. She is well known as Auntie Nell on the popular children’s show ‘Junior Club’ in Bermuda. Her broadcasting career consists of the following radio and television stations: ZBM – Bermuda; WNEW-FM – New York; WLIB – Harlem, New York; WTFM – Long Island, NY; WNBC/WYNY – New York; WVNJ – New Jersey. Nell was a major cast member of two daytime television soap operas. She was also host of the syndicated television series ‘For You… Black Woman’. She appeared in the Andy Warhol movie ‘Ciao Manhattan’. |
